VBOA National Rally, Billing  Date:  Saturday 14 July 2012 - Sunday 15 July 2012  Location:  Billing Aquadrome, nr Northampton  Description:  Yes, its the Big One - Billing! 2012 sees the 30th anniversary of a Vauxhall gathering on the Billing site so it will be a special celebration. The event gets better every year but the basic formula of a chill weekend in the company of over 30 clubs catering for all models of Vauxhall plus Opels and Bedfords has not changed. Featuring the best Vauxhall autojumble in the world and over 2000 cars, vans and trucks forming an unforgettable display in the hugely improved surroundings of Billing Aquadrome. On Sunday we have club displays in the parade ring and the Chairman's Cup competition for the best car in Show. Miss it at your peril! Three categories of visitor are welcome to the event: (1) VBOA affiliated club members (2) Traders and autojumblers (3) Non-club members/visitors Detailed below are instructions for joining the event for each category. (1) Members of a VBOA club attending Billing with a club stand. IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO CAMP WITH YOUR CLUB THEN PRE-BOOKING WITH BILLING IS ESSENTIAL. VBOA club members will receive a discounted rally rate of £15 per vehicle per night for non electric hook up pitches for the event dates (13th, 14th and 15th). There is no minimum night booking period. All pitches are for one vehicle and a maximum of four people. Pre-book electric hook ups will be charged at an extra £6 per night but please note that very few of these are available on the designated show fields. Extra vehicles will be charged at a flat £10 for the duration of the event. Day visitors will be charged £10 per day per vehicle and up to four people and do not have to pre-book. To pre-book, call 01604 408181, select option 2 or 01524 781453 and quote the VBOA booking code. This code can only be obtained from your club and should remain confidential for the benefit of all club members. All pitches must be pre-booked by 6th July 2012 (inclusive). Bookings made on the 7th onwards will be at the FULL Billing tariff of £20 per night. Pre-booked attendees will be directed to a dedicated “fast track” entry lane and pick up their welcome pack/Billing passes at the gate house. The welcome pack will include a park map with the VBOA Club stand locations and an invitation to a Friday night VBOA 30th anniversary event, details to be confirmed. Those pre booking leisure passes for the new leisure complex will also enjoy a 50% discount - swimming will only be £2.50 per person and not the usual £5 per visit. (2) Traders and autojumblers As in previous years there is a two stage booking process. Firstly, use the VBOA pitch application form (downloadable from the tab below) to book and pay for your pitch with the VBOA. Pitch prices have been maintained at previous levels and represent great value for money. Full details and tarrif are on the application form. As part of the booking confirmation you will receive the VBOA discount booking code for Billing. Then proceed as per the club member Billing pre-booking process described above. If you are intending to camp on site then PRE-BOOKING WITH BILLING IS ESSENTIAL. (3) Non-club members/visitors Parking will be provided just beyond the Billing entry gates giving full pedestrian access to the site. Day visitors will be charged at £10 for a car and up to four passengers.   Directions:  Billing Aquadrome is to the East of Northampton and lies just off the A45.
